Has anyone heard of National Tax Traninig School or took course(s) from this school? If so, would you suggest this school to a friend?

Thank you so much in advance for your reply to this message.

Tiffany, I do recall the school you are talking about. I don't remember who puts it on or if is still going at this time. My recollection was that it was put on in the summer at a mid-western university and the length of the course depended upon the level of the class. The idea was that you stayed on campus in the dorms and took the classes. My suggestion would be to check with the AICPA as it may have been offered through them. You might want to check with master in taxation programs available at your local university if you want a more in depth education. Also the CalCPA Education Foundation offers many excellent courses.

Hi Tiffany,
I took their advanced course in 2000 and have to say, it was very comprehensive. They explained the source of taxation right from the beginning on up to today. Explanations & examples are shown very well including references to the actuall code. End of chapter tests do alot to help you understand what might have been vague to you in each chapter. All in all, I thought it was a terrific course. It's not very expensive, and I believe it is guaranteed. So if you don't think it's for you, you can get your money back.
