Estate is around 1.6 million,it includes a house and 2 rentals valued a total of 1.2. Wife died in March,2003,husband died in June,2003.On wife's death 1/2 goes into a credit shelter trust so the taxable estate is under 1,000,000. I believe it may be a good idea to file the 706 in order to establish the existence and funding of the credit shelter trust.
