As far as a judge reducing statutory fees, there are some cases included in the court rules that I referred you to. I am not able to comment on the likelihood of your success in requesting a reduction in your situation.

The point of the extraordinary fees is that sometimes the judge will determine that statutory comp is high enough to cover both statutory and extraordinary work, and therefore not award any additional extraordinary fees. Again, I cannot comment on your particular case, but look to the cases cited and discuss it with your attorney.
